There's many answers to that question, including this: The knee is not fine.

Medically, sure, it's fine in the sense that Culpepper has recovered enough from the three torn ligaments to go out and throw for 262 yards against defending Super Bowl champion Pittsburgh, then 250 more against Buffalo last weekend.

At the same time, he's looked tentative, a pocket passer who, when he does roll out, seems to go to the right every time. He forced throws against the Bills, including a horrible interception near the end of the first half. He threw an interception that was run back for the loss-sealing TD against the Steelers. He's been sacked 10 times in two games, in which the Dolphins have managed three touchdowns.

So I guess Culpepper was supoosed to simultaneously block the dline while trying to throw the football? culpepper looks tentative sure, but the oline needs to give him more time!

why wouldnt he look tentative, hes under pressure evry time he snaps the ball

Pep is still recovering he has not played in a year he looks slow to react, he needs to biuld his confidence and Saban is puting the game in his hands when he is not ready.
We have a guy that was the second pick of the draft 2 years ago, he is the best player in this O, yet he only touched the ball 15 times for 70 yards in the first half, when it's harder to run.
Saban should be treating Pep like buffalo treated JP.
Our D is playing great even with the mistakes.
Ronnie gets paid more than the whole OL maybe Saban should give him a chance to earn it.
15 carries 70 yards that's a 4.66 average.
If Pep saw Ronnie running the Bills into the ground don't you think he would feel more confortable, don't you think the passing game would open up.
Ricky Williams said it best "a good running back makes the OL better".
I say it makes the whole team better.
Ball Control Baby.

This was the same excuse everyone in MN was using last year when he absolutely suked in 7 games before his injury. It was either the O line or the play calling. Only problem with that was when Brad Johnson came in after Daunte got hurt and went 7-2 with the exact same O line and coaches.
Face it - you traded for a real lemon, it ain't gonna get any better !

You make that declaration as if to imply that all of the sacks were due to O-line play.
I've read columns in all 3 south florida papers and the consensus seems to be that out of the 7 sacks 3-4 of them were DC's fault for being indecisive, clumsy or holding the ball too long.
Actually, the O-line was shaky in the 1st quarter, but they tightened things up the rest of the game.
DC did his best imitation of a former Bills QB named Rob Johnson :D

He rolls to the Right because it's easier to throw from that side for a righty, the same reason Vick rolls to the left. How dumb is the guy who wrote this article?
