New owner Stephen Ross has said he wants to have a bigger fan experience - starting with the deal with Jimmy Buffet. He's made the statement that he wants to make the games "an event."

My question to all of you is - What do you think of that?

A couple of thoughts:
* what is the fan experience like for you today?
* what would you change to make it better?
* should it be all about football (and screw the other nonsense!)?
* and finally, what's your favorite game day experience / ritual / habit?

They should have the fanfest here and not in the Bahamas

They should add something to keep people cool in the stands. It get's hot as balls out there and it might keep people from going inside to cool off during halftime and not coming back.

that would be awesome, but SOOOO expensive, no way.. Besides, it's fun being in the sun and drinking beer, you get way drunker!!!

The fan experience is great for me nowadays. I hate seeing it empty, but that takes time and improvements in itself until that can happen.
To make it better? It'd be nice if it were grass instead of all concrete and rocks in the parking lot. Alot of kids throw the ball out there, and sometimes we fall, and come in with dirty bloody knees. Grass would be nice on the knees, and for appearances' sake.
I wish there was some variation in food. I don't know if there are cool 'Miami' style restaurants in the Club or 100 levels, I always sit in the upper deck. But i alwasys see other stadiums serving awesome food on Monday night football, its always their cities faovrites too. We need some Ceviche and fresh fish Grill at the stadium. Accessable to all fans. If you need a chef contact me. I'd start that place up.
I think that the fans need something to get excited about, other than our football team. Not halftime shows, or fireworks. Something original that can unite the fans. Pittsburgh has those terrible towels, and it's awesome.

In reality you could do nothing on the business development side, and as long as your a winning franchise consistantly; thats how you gain revenue, and fan support.

So really, just make this football team the best it can be, and everything else will fall in place. Football is whats more important. Ross should be working on locking up Parcells to a new deal instead of renaming the stadium.

Being closer to the action, getting rid of the hideous orange seats, and of course, an overweight all-male dance team like the Marlins have.

I have been to dozens of Fins games. When they win, its a great experience. When they lose, it sucks.

So, if you want to improve the fan experience, improve the team.

we have more late and primtime games so hopefully this helps out the fans in the mid day sun!
