One one hand:

"Our qb sucks."

On the other hand:

Those same people who talk about how we should have kept Gus, were probably the ones saying he sucked last year.

"You need a great qb to win the Superbowl. "

On the other hand:

Could these be the same people who say Manning will never win a Superbowl ? Or better yet would say the Ravens did it in spite of Dilfer ?

Or could these be our fans who say Marino is the greatest of all time in one thread, and then say Brady is better than Manning because of the Championships in the next thread ?:shakeno:



Bottom line: Most of you seem to change your opinions/thought process more often then the commentators (that you bash) do. Could we just get behind our team that takes the field (for a change), and enjoy the game for what it is ?

You complained about Feidler.... we got Feeley.

You complained about Feeley (and said Feidler was better).... we got Gus.

You complained about Gus...we got Daunte.

You complained about Daunte.....Harrington steps in.....You complain about him.

Granted, some on that list flat out suck......BUT one constant will always seem to be there.......Many of you will always find a way to complain.

If this thread applies to you, you will be offended and probably flame me.

If it doesn't, you will know it doesn't, and shouldn't take offense.



Now flame on....I really don't care.
 
Good post. Have to say when you go 1-6 the "easy to complain" becomes easy. The way we have bounced back is credible and im a happy Fin Fan the last few weeks. How did this team get to 1-6? we lost my small margins and those margins have cost us this season. Harrington is getting better and more importantly "comfortable" with the the Offense. Quick passes and good pocket awareness is showing Joey to be a decent QB.
Our Defense though has to take a bow because we are lucky to have those guys and i think Capers should get some respect. No-one has mentioned the guy! Our defensive backfield was a mess 6 weeks ago and hes made some good decisions (Bell, Allen, Roth) that have upgraded our Defense in recent weeks.

I was at the Vikings game sitting next to a friend of mine and every play he was predicting how Miami was going to mess up.So I told him to shut the F up or I was going to paint his face purple and get him a purple jersey.We need to stand behind OUR team and have some faith.
 
Good post.
But remember sometimes the complaints do have valid points, especially if they can be backed up by statistics. It's the emotional "Jay Fiedler sucks and his ears are big" posts that really rile me up, ESPECIALLY if we are winning games.
 
Nice post my friend! Thankfully none but the most hardcore Harrington bashers have had anything to complain about after the Detroit game! Hopefully he continues to play as well, it's certainly alot more pleasant around here after a performance like that! :dolphins:
 
This was a great thread, no maybe it wasn't. Yes it was, no it isn't. The problem with fans is that half of them are bipolar.
 
What about those fans that find one player/coach to just flat out hate...and about 98% of their posts are about how much they hate that player/coach.
 
Well Said.

Its very similar to now, were on a 4 game winning streak behind Joey, and still nobody gives him credit for anything... and people are calling for Saban's job too... its ridiculous really. Whoever thought this thing would turn around in 1 year is insane. Its close though... very very close i think. But... its the NFL... so.. you never really know.
