Any thoughts about who the fans in England will be rooting for. I've watched a few soccer games and the fans are insane. If most are pulling for the fins it could really make a differance. After seeing the photos of the visit to Wimbley Staduim i think that the Dolphins are setting themselves up with the fans. My guess is going to be 85% dolphins 15% Giants.

I hope we have atleast 60% fin fans there. Fans really make a difference in the outcome of the game.

Personally, I think it will be 25% Fins, 25% Giants and 50% lets go see a football game.

I agree with this. It's pretty new and they haven't had a whole lot of time to develop loyalties to certain teams. At this point I think they are mostly fascinated with the game itself than any particular team.

I travel to England once a year, and have many friends there. I've been told many times that the Dolphins have quite a large following. I was wearing a Dolphins T-shirt last year and had at least four people say "Go Fins" while in England.

Mate, you are so wrong. There are tens of thousands of football fans here, all with loyalties to one team. This is not a new sport to us. It is a sport we know and love well. Many fans here are as knowledgeable as you guys, if not more. The only edge you guys have over us is that you have/had a chance to play the game. You may understand that side better, but as fans we are equal. We have four live games each week, two on Sunday evening, the late game on Sunday and Monday night football. You can also buy a `season ticket` on the internet to watch your team`s game every week.

The fans at the game will not be `virgins` to the sport. The publicity for the game here only started last week. Therefore, the people with tickets are already NFL fans. We are just excited and priveledged to have a regular season game to saviour and enjoy -Go Fins!

From what I have heard from others there are a LOT of Dolphin fans out there. I think the game will be about 60% Dolphins, 20% Giants 15% hey lets go see a game.

I agree with that one. A lot of the people are going for the spectacle of being able to go to see an NFL game which is the first one ever out of our continent.

I pretty much predict that it'll basically be like a superbowl. Not everyone there is a fan of one of the teams a lot just want to be part of it.

I do think there will be a good margin of Giants and Fin fans in attendance. We'll see a lot of old jerseys (Marino, Lawrence Taylor, Simms, Czonka, etc.)

To follow up on my own text......I do believe that this game will cultivate us a lot of additional lifelong fans. How many kids are going to see this one with their dads? Big time bonding = lifetime team bond.

The vast majority of people will be cheering on the Phins. The Dolphins are without a doubt one of the best supported teams over here, if not the best supported.

I imagine the atmosphere will be electric, us Brits just can't sit down and be quiet at a sports event. It's our nature to drink as much as possible and sing our hearts out.

word up goose ;-) Indeed we will be on a rampage mission oct 28th lol. im guessing 70% Fins fans, 20% Giants, and 10% Lets see a game.... The Dolphins are the biggest fan based team here in the UK.

goona be a blindin day! i just hope that wembley will allow us to bring in the noise makers/fog horns that we can use at soccer games! hehe Giants THIRD DOWN. PAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARP hehe

plus with 40 thousand seats selling in under 1 hour, shows how were hungry for this match!!!! ;-)
