Starting tomorrow, the exultation over making the playoffs expires. The debate of the merits of fighting for the #5 seed and sending a message to the Patriots versus resting starters and being as healthy as possible for the playoffs begins.

Guys, it was a tongue-in-cheek comment. I was thinking how refreshing it is to be able to discuss playoff tactics rather than another offseason of threads such as "Ross Sucks And Should Sell The Team", "Tannenbaum/GM/Head Coach Sucks And Should Be Fired".

One month from now we can reflect upon what a great season it was (is?). But deep down I know that there will come a time before that first playoff game in which I will not feel satisfied with just getting there. Whether that time is tomorrow or the day of the game, the switch will flip.
