So basicly what was said there, in a nutshell was that the front office is looking for good football players and age isn't necessarily a factor as long as they are an upgrade? :lol:

*Whew* I thought for a moment there they were trying to find BAD football players!

Yeesh...Gonna be a long offseason. :(

The GM of Baltimore said no team values Ray as much as they do and he's playing as good today as 5 years ago. I really doubt they allow their heart and soul go when he's still playing at a high level. B.Scott would be the easiest player to replace for them in the draft, some kid will be playing beside Lewis, Suggs , Reed and Ngata what an easy way to come in the league.
 
Kind of misleading, not so much as interested in older players, but not going to hold it against them if the have some wear on the treads. Peppers=yes/Favre=No
 
it's not age ... it's the ability to contribute vs $$$ -- plain and simple

in the same breath, all things being equal -- you'd prefer youth, because you'd get a longer period of contribution.
