I'm pumped. I can't freeking wait. I know all of the negatives about cullpepper. About how he couldn't do jack crap w/o moss, how his a perenial fumbler, how he might have a bad attitude and needs to mature, and how he won't be healthy enough to play preseason and might be rusty. But look folks, this is the FIRST legit QB we've had in Miami since "The Man". So DO NOT bring your negativity around here. Those people who are being negative must have been estatic when we gave up the same for AJ whats-his-name. Cullpepper will not be the next coming of "The Man", no where near it. But it finally gives us SOMETHING behind center.
Those of you who are hating this, ask yourselves one thing, who else in the leage, that had the slightest chance of being obtainable in the next 2 years, would you rather have? Or would you rather give up more for an unproven rookie that could possibly be the next Kyle Boller or Tim Couch? And even if he turned out to be decent, he would be going through his growing pains in the NFL while your defense is just getting older.
We have a young, expirenced all pro QB on our team now. No more backups, a true proven starter. People, enough w/ the negativity, GET PUMPED! (this coming from the most cynical dolphins fan on the face of the earth)
p.s. - For those of you who are slow "The Man" is of course number 13.
