The Flynn poll...

Are you for or against the Matt Flynn signing?

In a perfect world, I'd like him to sign to compete for the starting spot... This world is not perfect so...
 
I'm for the Flynn signing if it happens.
For the record, I think Weeden is the better QB, but with Flynn's knowledge of the system we're running, coupled with Weeden's age, I think Flynn is the right choice right now.
 
I've only seen him play once, so I have no opinion... I'm willing to wait until pre-season to make my decision... but, you do have to admit, he looks a lot like Ryan Fitzpatrick...

Joe Philbin understands Matt Flynn better than anybody. If he's willing to tie his job to him, then I trust the desicion.

For those of you who voted thumb's down on Flynn, give this some thought. Peyton Manning has said many times that he doesn't like playing in cold weather. What happens in November, December and January when we have to possibly play in NYC, Foxboro and Buffalo? Matt Flynn had a record setting day in the cold of Green Bay against a good Detroit defense, would Manning have played as well? We don't know if Flynn will ever be as good as Manning, but he is 26, not 36, and has lots of up size. Manning may never be what he once was, and teams are willing to cough up $90/5 years? That's crazy.

If we sign him, Philbin has tied a lot of his future to him. IMO Flynn did not look more than a little better than an average back up aainst the Pats in 2010. We haven't seen much play out of Flynn but the Pats game is the best sample of a competative game.

I agree about Manning but hopes are getting too high on Flynn. Moore = Flynn.
 
I'm for it. You have to take a chance if you want to be good. If the Dolphins fail with Flynn then it's like nothing ever changed anyway. You have to gamble.
 
we will be seeing an all new phins offense out there,flynn will help us forget last year.new blood.i like philbin and sherman designing plays.also,it can only help the phins pr,if only just a little bit.
