I think he would probably be an upgrade over Moore but I think he is limited physically which will stop him becoming elite. The biggest advantage of Flynn to Ross, Ireland and Philbin is that he's ready to play and they don't want a losing record next year. However, I don't really see the point in paying someone starting QB money whilst knowing that he can only likely take you to 8 or 9 wins a season. I would rather invest in someone who has the tools but may not be ready to play just yet. We've waited long enough - another year or two isn't going to make much difference if we're at least headed in the right direction
