I can't wait for this to get going. Who do you feel will be the first signing? I am going to go with Eric Winston to fill our right tackle need

would seem to be a good fit, im hoping to see some moves any signs of life. i hope we don't sit on our thumbs while manning plays us and miss out on some other opportunities.

I'll guess our first signing will be Pierre Garcon for no real reason.

Shouldn't be a lot of action right away, all our money is being held hostage by our pursuit of Manning.

don't know about us but heavy momentum that the pats are goin hard after dt red bryant of seattle...a guy who blocks a ton of special teams kicks with his length and is stout against the run...not good for us

Red Bryant found his niche as the DE in Seattle's Elephant D. He was actually a HUGE disappointment at DT and got pushed around by interior linemen.

Sounds like Curtis Lofton might sign with Tampa and be made the highest paid MLB in the NFL. Really sounds like Atlanta could be screwed with bringing some of their top players back. They are gonna make runs at Langford and Big Paul though

Pats need pass rushers and secondary help. They are already stout against the run. They can get all the DTs they need and I wouldn't be worried.

If they pursued someone like Mike Wallace or Vincent Jackson, then I'd worry.

thats a big dude in bryant to be playin de in a 4 man front...curtis loftons pretty much a 2 down backer...he's nice no doubt inside the tackles especially but top lb in the nfl money he's not worth

that it is but Seattle's starting DL this year was Chris Clemmons-Alan Branch-Brandon Mebane-Red Bryant. So they had 3 300+ pounders starting.

Pete Carroll and Casey Bradley's Elephant defense is kind of a modified 3-4. You have a pass rushing DE, 3 run stuffers at the other positions and an outside backer that can rush the passer (the Elephant Back)

If Manning hasn't made up his mind by about 7, I say bag it and sign Flynn. But I'm hoping we sign Eric Winston at 3:59. He should be our top priority after getting a QB.

30 minutes til kendall langford and paul solia get their real money contract offers and put miami in the rear view mirror...so say goodbye

Agreed. It kind of pisses me off that we draft and develop them, and end up watching them leave just as they are hitting their prime, and we get nothing in return. I know it's the nature of the business...just sayin.

I'm gonna guess if we lose Paul and Langford you aren't gonna cry too much huh Hoops? I love them both but I'm still 99% positive that we're moving to a 4-3 which makes Langford expendable. And even if we don't, 3-4 DE isn't exactly a weak point.

damn...the chargers released ot marcus mcneil...that neck must be jacked up
