The Frst Time I Saw Zach Thomas....

Personally, I saw the "Undersized rookie overachiever from TX Tech" in the first preseason game the year he was drafted. Forget who the announcer was. ZT was a demon. He was all over the place. The funniest was when he threw up. It was a preseason game, and Zach jumped offsides like...at least three times.

I just knew..I had a warm and fuzzy when I saw the guy..I was like....."That's the guy I want at MLB...right there. He cares.

first time i saw hi m was vs NE and he took an INT to the house for a TD and i was like wow who is this guy and thats how i got into the dolphins honestly. cuz my dad is a huge fan and he was watching it and i went to see waht he was doin cuz we were watiin for him to leave the house and i saw htat play.
 
The one play I remember about Zach as a rookie was when he came from the left side of the field on the 10 yard line and dove head first into a running backs waist stopping him short of the goal line on fourth down. Right there I remember thinking this guy is for real.(this play was against the patriots,made it even sweeter)
 
It was love at first sight between dolfans and zach. I just remember his motor most. He'd come flying in on every frickin play.
 
The first time i saw Zach Thomas was actually off the field in his rookie year,when he came to some card shop to sign autographs. I didn't like his agent though because he made fun of me because i was wearing a marino jersey. I was like 6 at the time so it was the only jersey i had lol
 
That year, Jimmy brought in Jack Del Rio to start at Middle Linebacker and Zach sent him into retirement. I remember watching him against the bears overpursuing on every play. I knew though that he was a guy with a motor that wouldn't stop and Miami had a middle linebacker.
 
the first time i saw zach thomas i was like "who is this midget ****?"
 
first time i saw zach he knocked out shawn jefferson i was like damn you go boy and i was sold on zach no matter what size he is
