I'm not blaming Gus for the play, just like I did not blame AJ for the Urlacher sack. Sometimes the other team just makes a good play. It does not always have to be a screw up by Miami for the other team to find success.

the steelers showed a "bringing the house" blitz look presnap. gus backpedals and holds on to the ball. gotta be snap bang in that situation. our line is not going to pick that blitz up. gus is what, a 15 year vet? he should know better. even though saban says we blocked the wrong gap on the blitz he knows when a d gives you that look you better get rid of the ball quick. snap bang. snap bang. you cant be back pedaling in a 5 step drop waiting for a guy to get open. throw it at his feet if you have to. just don't do what gus did.
