The game is always about momentum.

True but he has given this team more big plays in criticals times than negative plays. But yes, he should have caught that touchdown pass. How some fans keep blaming all of our redzone problems on Henne is beyond me.

Dont get me wrong. I am a full on supporter of Bmarsh. But just as credit is due when it is deserved, so does blame.
He did it in the Pittsburgh game last year, and yet again today... dropping a clear cut easy TD that changes the complexion of the entire game.

He had a ton of great impact plays today... but he sh** the bed on that one, and it changed the game.

I think the momentum issues are a reflection of poor player leadership, but I do think it's harder to have players behave like and develop into effective leaders when they're playing for coaches they don't believe in and/or are lame ducks.

You hit the head on the nail there brother. I really do not get the feeling this team believes in the coaching staff. How could you if the HC consistently shows no confidence to go for it on 4th and short in the redzone?

Also, the players sat there and watched their owner try to hire another coach, unsuccessfully. Hard to then come out and play your *** off for a guy who clearly isn't fully backed by the owner.

Agreed that was a momentum swing there. But why does this team continue to s*** the bed in those critical moments? To me? That is all on the coaching staff and preparation.

Big mistake by Ross IMO. If you are going to entertain a coaching change then do it. Don't p***y foot around with it. Find your guy and make it happen. The players watched that scenario play out and knew Tony was on a VERY short leash.
