Hixon is just another WR that we dont need we need a true #1 WR that is going to make big catchs and big plays Hixon is just a #2 or 3

Exactlly, we need a Boldin, Marshall type player, and we can then use Ginn on Go's like the Bronco's are using Eddie Royal.

They have 3 that would be nice on our team and they would never trade any of them. Smith and Manningham are the starters and Nicks is the rookie that they are very high on.

If we are going to take any WR from them, it should only be Steve Smith. every other WR on their team is basically a back up, which we dont need. We need a true #1.

With my hopes high after monday I would give a arm and leg for Boldin guess thats why im not a GM
:chuckle:

the only one worth getting on their team is Nicks... the rest of them people on this board would consider "number 2s"

Smith is not a guy who is fighting for balls in the air, hes not breaking tackles, hes not doing these things that people complain Ginn doesn't do... he just has a QB who has one of the most accurate deep balls ive ever seen, an oline who can give the WRs time to let the plays develop, and a balanced offense that defenses have to respect ever aspect...

I watch Giants games every week being in NY, steve smith is not what people on this board consider a number 1

Your 100% right but it seems like on these boards everyone else's players are always much better then ours. Outside of having a true #1 (which only a handfull of teams have) our WR core is solid.

We may have to wait until after the season for FA. Either that or man up, roll the dice, and get after the best available WR in the first round. Move up if we have to. This team absolutely needs that true number 1. What other Wrs besides G-Men are rumored to be sought after by the FO in a trade?

Exactly. "People on this board" expect a #1 WR to be a RB.

Apparently, Marvin Harrison was never a #1 WR.

They're not going to trade Nick, Manningham, or Smith. The only other one they have is Ramses Barden, but he's not playing for the same reason P. Turner isn't. Oh yeah and Derek Hagan.
