Have the details of the contract even been made public yet??

He deserves the 20 mil whether he plays at an elite level or not because of the contributions he has made as an extremely underpaid player.

I suspect the contract is incentive laden.

The real question concerning Wake is.......will the NFL ever do their job and call the holding penalties being made against him 20 times a game.

There's a lot to be sad for media darlings getting the lucky breaks and calls. This goes along with "making your own luck". We have brought some of the misfortune on ourselves by becoming perennial hind parts.

A couple of years of playoffs and championships and this kind of stuff goes away. Until we are fashionable again, we have 2 opponents on the field. Our opponent and the Zebras.

If we don't get things turned around soon, we are entering "Tampa Bay Yuccaneers" and "New Orleans Aints" territory.

And before you disagree... when was the last Super Bowl we were in?
