The good and bad of Wake's extension

And the funny thing is, if Miami wouldn't have signed him and he would have signed with someone else we would have been called stupid for letting him walk and the other team would get credit for getting him at a steal of a price.

The only bad is having to ready ****ty articles like this. Dumbass, how dare anyone say Wake isn't a game changer. James Walker is a joke.

Wake is the best pass rusher in the NFL. It is a much deserved contract.

His coverage of the Dolphins has been bad since he took over the AFC East blog. Usually has incorrect facts, ignores facts and always has a negative tone when talking about the Dolphins. He can take a positive story about the Dolphins and find the faults, sort of like Mike Florio. At least Florio is more knowledge about football than Walker.

Actually, no he isn't, not anymore. FLORIO hasn't had an original thought worth mentioning, regarding football, in about 20 years. It wasn't ALWAYS so, but...there you have it! FLORIO is now a "rehasher", for want of a better word, and he lives for clever jabs, rather than good sports journalism. I'm old enough to remember the "old" FLORIO...and I liked that FLORIO a whole lot better. But I haven't seen HIM in about...well...20 years.

Now, FLORIO's useless: he just posts clever drivel, best described as "viva ME".

Walker needs to stop trying to be like a typical journalist and do some real reporting. He is showing that he is very lazy like most of these sports reporters. Looking at the surface of things and not digging deep to make your point credible. Come'on brother man. I want to like you but you got to do a better job. Like he's listening to me, right?

Wake now knows, without a shadow of a doubt, that the FO believes fully in him - the entire team actually.

This means one thing: If you think you have seen the best of Wake as yet, you have not seen nothing yet. Why? Because when someone believe in you, you believe more in yourself. And that friends is a simple fact of life. Wake is going to be a true powerhouse in 2012. Write it down in permanent ink.

(He will be a mad bull, like those in the freaking rodeos, coming off the gates. Defenses will be buckling their knees like little girls at seeing that monster on the other side of ball with blood shot (mad) eyeballs with steam billowing out his nostrils)

This is what the future needs to be for the Fins, drafting well and tying up the players we pick up to long term contracts. The days of wasting money in free agency are over hopefully.

When Cam adds one more move to his arsenal no one in this league will be able to hold him!!!!

It's just your typical Walker article.. He puts absoloutely no thought into what he's saying and any pointes he does make, he never substantiates with any proven facts. I mean you can tell from the length of his articles, they're literally all roughly 300/400 words, do some research man!

Last 3 Years.
Mario Williams, 22 sacks, $100 mil contract
Cameron Wake, 28 sacks, $49 mil contract

How many more sacks I wonder could you add on to that total had the Refs either actually been doing their job or not purposely ignoring holds on someone not in a Patriots, Jest or Steelers uniform. :idk:

I love how he points out Wake's reduction in sacks production from year to the next.

Yet, a few weeks ago writes a article about how Wake lead the league in holding calls against and would of had another 12-14 sack season if not for all the holding penaltys.

And I thought Tim Graham was a clown on AFC East blog.

Have the details of the contract even been made public yet??

He deserves the 20 mil whether he plays at an elite level or not because of the contributions he has made as an extremely underpaid player.

I suspect the contract is incentive laden.

The real question concerning Wake is.......will the NFL ever do their job and call the holding penalties being made against him 20 times a game.

so because of what he did 2 years ago he deserves to potentially give us cap problems down the road...?

Why does there have to be an opinion of the Wake deal from Walker anyway? In no way does his opinion do anything for or to the Dolphins.
