The Good And The Bad?

Yeah Shaw for sure played well....Glenn had that one sack but, nothing much besides that....

He also had some great pass deflections and seemed to be around the ball when he was in...

Not that I'm shocked about this, but no one has mentioned Jason Rader and his play thus far. Rader has four receptions in two games, two of which have been touchdowns. He's a big target, and he could be in the mix for a spot at the tight end position with Donald Lee quickly playing himself out of a roster spot.

As of right now, I think it would be easy to say that both Lorenzo Diamond and Jason Rader have been better than Donald Lee in the games. Alex Holmes made a showing tonight as well, but I think Alex may lose out in a numbers game. Could be a practice squad guy.

Maurice Mann could be caught in a numbers game as well and could be a practice squad candidate unless some roster moves are made at the WR position. Miami has some good depth and may be able to parlay some of that depth into draft picks.....such as calling the Eagles and seeing if they would give up a pick for Derrius Thompson.

i'm really proud of the 1st unit offensive line. they had a great game against a excellent jax d-line

I would agree that when Rader has had an opportunity he has looked good... however that is just it... he hasnt had much of an opportunity. I would like to see more of him before I give him the nod over Diamond, but I do agree with you that he has been impressive when given the chance...

Yes Rader has the two TD's, which is certainly a positive. But he doesn't look very big, and would look to be a liability as a blocker compared to Diamond and Lee, his main competitors for the 3rd TE spot.

Is there a third TE spot?

Good:

Zack, Bowens, Taylor, Daniels, Madison, Crowder

O-line looked good other than McKinney and McDougle (M&M had a few bad plays between them, but not all bad)

Ricky looked very good. Chambers looked awesome. The receivers did good most of the night. Morris ran hard and impresses me as a quality back up RB. Minor will make the team due to situational RB and ST play.

Gus did enough to be called decent. AJ had some bad breaks early that were not his fault but seemed to fall apart later on. Sage and Brock looked decent also.

Bad:

2nd string defense on down.

AJ fell apart.

Gordon looked awful and has shown me nothing since we have gotten him.

ST allowed a TD return but I'm not to worried with that yet.

We should post that Gordon's fumble and AJ's interception is what made the score seem so bad.

Good:

Vernon Carey - Played really well. never got beat and pancaked a guy or 2...

Ricky - Looked awesome! Did really well! His speed was great and was making people miss...

Jason Glenn - Again another good game. Looks great in pass coverage

Daniels - Untill he tweeked his hammy he was stayin step for step with the WRs and plays the ball really well

Crowder - Got alot of PT tonight and was in on almost every tackle. Just seems to find the ball

Bad:

Both QBs... the supporters for each will twist it how they want, but both were bad. However I have to say that the WR made absolutly no effort on Feeley's pass that got picked.

Stockar McDougle - got beat once or twice and had a penalty

Reggie Howard - He blows... end of story. However he did have one really nice hit.

Gordon - Had a fumble and was completely ineffective.

Minor - Had one nice run but had a bad night overall with a BIG dropped pass...

Thanks Nasty! I didn't get to see the game today, nor will I have the chance tomorrow, in your opinion what position do think we need to improve the most in after today's game? Do we need to be watching who gets released from other teams?
