Look I know there is a ton of frustration on here with Ross but my question what is Peterson doing as his so called advisor??? He should know how to do a better GM search I mean for goodness sake the guy he hired turned down a 2nd interview. This is Ross first GM search so you would think Peterson would provide him with better advice, this is ridiculous.

At the end of the day we will have NEW GM that will have my support & am thankful to be moving on from Ireland.

This whole Dolphins GM search makes me wonder how influential Carl Peterson is anymore.
 
I have never killed Peterson, but I am starting to waiver. He sucked trying to get Fisher. He loved Joe's coaching presentation. And this turn has been lackluster.
 
Is Peterson even being paid for his services, or is he just doing these favors as a friend? This is an important question because maybe the answer is that he just doesn't have that much skin in this game. If he were actually accountable for the results, perhaps he would do a better job. But no doubt, he is doing his friend a disservice if he isn't getting in Ross' ear and making him aware of what a collossal joke Ross looks like to the public, media and fans.
 
I know people hate Mangini here, but Ross has a connection to him. Why is he using just Peterson?

It seems like Ross can get a date from the prom with one of his friends, but continues to try for the hot chicks that have no interest in him. Maybe if Ross would ask one of his friends, he would have a good time...

Now everyone can pile on the analogy in future posts. I have set you all up.
 
The guy is old and out dated like our owner! Ross should have pulled Dungy off his Blue Ribbon Panel to help. Hell maybe he tried and Dungy saw the dumpster fire and said no.
 
I said it before and will say it again Peterson being Ross' right hand man is the worst thing that can happen to this franchise. How much you wanna bet this whole seperate power structure was Petersons idea?
 
If Ross cleaned house and asked for a private head hunting firm to find quality FO types and formulate a structure for his team, Ross might not be in this mess.

Ross needs to stop subscribing to the Dan Snyder theory of football operations.
