It's early and things could certainly change, but I think I have to move off the Feeley Bandwagon and get on the Gus Bus.

I really don't think he is more talented than AJ, in fact, I think AJ throws a beautiful seam pass and has wonderful potential. I think it boils down to this. Our O-line is a work in progress. We all expected so much from Houck, that we were not being realistic. It can take years for an O-line to come together and we still don't even know who are starting 5 is.

Yes, it was just 1 game that doesn't count, but the Bears made it look much too easy. They have a talented front 7, but they're not that good. C'mon they were 5-11 last year.

The O-line will improve under Houck's leadership, but in the meantime Gus is the right QB for this line. He showed, under fire, that he has the poise and coolness to deal with pressure and not make mistakes. AJ is simply not experienced enough to handle the constant blitzes teams will throw at us all year.

Why don't you support both QB's?

Yeah I'm hoping both do a good job. Although I'm hoping AJ does a little bit better considering we invested a 2nd rounder in him.

Byroan.....I have no idea what you meant by that comment. Are you saying we should start both QB's at the same time? Only 1 can start and I'm saying Gus is it.

You said you're jumping off the Feeley bandwagon and getting on the Gus Bus. Thanks for reminding me that only one QB can start, I forgot all about that.

After the Monday night game I liked what Gus did, but I am pulling for A.J. as he is young, has raw potential, and we invested a 2nd in him.

I am wearing my Gus-kateer hat too......Gus just seems to be able to pick up the pressure and blitzes quicker and get rid of the ball.....Feeley seems to hold it too long and then he gets hammered....Brian Urlacher almost ripped him a new one.

The difference no one sees is experience vs. potential. Now if this was like a Kurt Warner vs. Eli Manning situation I would take the younger potential. But it is Gus vs. Feeley. People need to realize Feeley is too late to develop. Don't misunderstand I was once a Feeley supporter as well. Until I realized we have a better QB. So let's play the better one now, until we can get a franchise QB.

For those who choose to live in denial, you will soon be experiencing a 12 step reality program. There is simply no way AJ is going to get comfortable with Linehan's system, learn pocket awareness, stop looking down receivers, and gain the confidence he needs to be effective behind our O-line.

This isn't about AJ vs. Gus. It's about the stark reality that you cannot have an ineffective O-line and an inexperienced QB - it is a recipe for disaster that we learned the hard way last year. AJ could be very effective behind the right O-line, but I think it will take several games for this group to come together.

Gus has more experience, confidence, and knows Linehan's system. He can take the heat and be successful, AJ simply isn't experienced enough yet to do that.

I agree with your points to a certain degree. Let us be honest, if you give me the right o-line I could be successful in the NFL. What makes a QB great is his ability to make something out of nothing (ala Marino). Now neither Gus nor A.J. are great, but Gus makes more of what he has than Feeley.

And again the experience vs. potential is very much so on the ball.
