I was looking at the donation line to Finheaven the other day after I donated $20 about week ago and have not seen the donation line move too much. In my opinion, our perennial posters should donate a few dollars each season to keep this tremendous site going strong.

That said, I am making a pledge to Finheaven. I am donating $10 for every Dolphins win this year to Finheaven.com. after the conclusion of the season. I will also match the Finheaven donation by giving the same amount to Paralyzed Veterans of America.

I have zero financial gain out of this. I have zero to do with operation of this site. Nor do I pretend that what donating is some impressive sum of money. However, I am challenging others to help out and also have some fun with it.

While we have some heated debates, air our frustrations and hope for success for our team, I appreciate people's efforts around here and love coming to the site daily.

Fins up and let's hope for win #2 Sunday!

Nice post...I'll definately donate to keep this site up and going. Best source for news especially since I live outside of South Florida.

i was thinking about the same thing. Im pretty disappointed in our fans that we can't do better than whats shown. With as many fans has come around here i know most people could donate 5$ I myself am not a saint as i have been around the site for years and never donated anything till this year. The best thing that could of happened was putting that donation notification up because i never realized out little this site gets out of its users. Im with you hayden, I'm going to donate 10$ for every dolphins win this year and 20$ for every playoff win (hopefully).

FINS UP!!!

Nice intentions Hayden, especially to match to the Veterans. I will do the same but to another organization maybe wounded warriors or someplace similar. I understand its hard for some people to squeeze anymore money out of their monthly budget.

All we need now is for the Dolphins to cooperate.

Hey guys -

Apologies for advertising this, but since Hayden posted about it I'm sure it may connect with some of you, especially ones with children.

I actually work for a biotech company but on the side I help with a non-profit. They are a non-profit that helps children and young adults with invisible conditions (epilepsy, diabetes, asthma, cystic fibrosis, autism, etc). This is their website:

http://physicianparent.org/

They are trying to get a support structure in place for this population. If you are interested in helping/donating to their campaign, I can let them know and send you to the appropriate place. Its different than most places as this population is very unknown to the public. You can either let me know here or PM me.

I'm in Hayden. 10 bucks per win! So I figure $140 more bucks by seasons end

As long as Philbin is coaching this team it will be better for the site to donate $10 for every loss. So...... I'm going to go the other way an donate $10 for every loss this season. Somehow..... I have a feeling we'll be donating the exact same amount in January.

I just bought a VIP membership for the first time. Can some one explain the difference between VIP and donation? I mean, I understand the difference but do the VIP's keep the site afloat and donation is above and beyond or does it end up in the same till. I lurk mostly and don't post a whole lot but I felt it was time to actually try and kick in a little bit.

Donator is for any less than VIP amount or previous donation
VIP is $20
Super Donator is $50+, I believe

Why do you always put your own name in the thread? Are you that vain? It's very easy to tell the author of the thread without you putting it in the subject.

How about a $5 donation

Kind of funny when someone complains about the original poster putting their name in a title thread, yet the person complaining has their name in their FH username. :chuckle:

WOW this site is a bunch of whiners. Who the **** cares if someone puts their name in a thread title? How could that possibly bother somebody? The beautiful thing about a message board is if you don't like a thread title you don't have to take the time to read the thread or respond to it. I saw hoops (one the best posters here) getting **** for doing the same thing. It's like people are so arrogant they can't believe anybody could think highly enough of there football take to put there name in the thread title. WHO CARES? In fact from now on when I start a thread I think I'll include my name in the thread title just to have the satisfaction of knowing I annoyed some whiny baby.
