Brought a tear to my eye........

The Ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands in times of challenge and controversy.

Let hope so but I doubt it we live in a time of quick change a very little loyalty compared to those glory years. Why we won many of our games back then is we stuck with Shula through good times and bad while many other teams were looking for that quick fix. We beat most of those teams and year in and out but never really got back to the big bowl game which was just not goos enough. Shula's worst records would have looked pretty good for us after he was forced out. We DOLFANS just finally got caught up in the change game too and you can see where that got us!

I agree with you to a certain extent. Shula was the pillar in this proud organization and Wayne brought in a fraud in JJ. After a few dismal JJ drafts,Wayne let JJ anoit Wanny. Although I am unpopular in saying this, I think Wanny was a good coach. What killed him and this organization were his drafts and selling the farm for Ricky. Then we brought in the biggest fraud of all in Saban. He couldn't handle the NFL and his drafts reflect it too. The bottom line is the reason the Dolphins have fallen to the bottom of the NFL is simply the lack of production of getting and replenishing talent via the draft. The Dolphins have the worst draft record of impact players the last 8-10 years and it finally caught up to this organization!Hopefully Fat ******* can change that with an influx of talent starting in three weeks!!
