go ahead and mark it down, the 4 heisman finalists will be reggie bush, matt leinart, brady quinn and vince young. no one else is even close to these guys. if the voting took place now, it'd end up being something like:

reggie bush
vince young
matt leinart
brady quinn

bush is the guy that pretty much everyone describes as "the best player in the country" and "the most important player on USC." he's the top candidate no matter what he does. no one mentions his stats, because they just aren't that important. he's GOING TO WIN, period. young is creeping up on him, but unless USC loses a game, he ain't winning. leinart had a bad start against notre dame, although the way he finished the game should've gotten him more credit. quinn is the token 4th guy. but don't feel too bad for him--he'll be next year's easy #1 preseason heisman favorite
 
As long as Quinn is at the ceremony Ill be happy. Hopefully he can finish 3rd but just seeing a ND player there will be great. I think Young is closer to Bush than people might think though.
 
I honestly think Vince Young is in the lead right now. The hype seems to have grown even more lately, and he's ahead on every Heisman poll I've seen lately. Reggie has been relatively quiet (for his standards) the past couple games.

And fair or not, it'll be extremely difficult for Leinart to win it again, no matter what he does. I don't think voters like the idea of giving it to the same guy 2 years in a row.

Having said all that, if I had a vote, it'd go to Reggie Bush.
 
Bush will win it guarenteed sorry vince young....But when it comes time in the national title game i bet Matt Leinart throws like 5 tds and makes a statement saying you should of chose me ;)

If reggie bush wasnt in college football young would win it. Im not a fan of young but he would...bush is just too dangerous and should of won it last year. Him staying in and getting even better then last year is a given, hes definitely gonna win
 
It would have been better for Bush if the Notre Dame game came towards the end of the year & not in the middle.

I agree, that helped Palmer and Leinart. I think people will remember what Bush did and he'll still win, but it wouldnt even be close had that game come at the end.

That would be my top 5 also, Williams isnt getting that much attention though so I can see it being someone else
