I am assuming he was not invited to a camp or at least wasn't signed and is recovering from a knee injury. Anyone on this board seen him play (he played at Rutgers)?

being from north jersey, rutgers football is huge around here and pedro sosa is absolutely worth a shot. ray rice's best attribute is his inside running ability and pedro sosa was the man that opened the lanes. if he doesn't work out who cares we have other options if he does, great move by the fins

I heard that he was rated as a second or third rounder before his surgery.

Between he and Jeremy Zuttah, who ended up drafted high, Sosa always was the one that looked more technically sound. But, that happens in college ball...the technically sound guy that looks better at the college level doesn't outperform the more athletic guy with room to grow. Sosa was the guy you trust at LT in college ball. But, the injury undoubtedly hurt. Zuttah is quite the athlete though...and Sosa didn't really look that bad in comparison, maybe just a touch less athletic. I wonder if maybe he works out athletically better than some might suspect.

If we sign him, he's my immediate prediction for swing OT backup.

he is definitley worth a look dude is a tough sob seen him play , if anything would add depth. im not sure if he is recovered yet though.

him and zuttah are great friends i played high school bll with zuttah so i can tell you that he could pro be a solid swing tackle but i think hed be better offat a gaurd to be honest

If nothing else, he might be worth signing and putting him on the PUP or IR for this year ... doesn't help this year, of course, but we can usually find an 'adequate' stop gap to buy some time ...

small for a guard

Upon receiving an invitation to February's NFL Combine, Pedro Sosa's expectations started to soar. Yet the offensive lineman's feet soon touched the ground thanks to a knee injury that ultimately kept his name from being called on draft day. With the draft in his rear view mirror,

you know, if we are going to sign ANOTHER injured guy, then BY GOD
it better be LACHARLES BENTLEY!!

that is, unless he wants 9 mill a year or some rediculous salary.

but heck, sign pedro to!! cant have enough depth at the o-line
position.

it is kind of funny though. bill HATES inuries and injured players
but he seems to be bringing them in this year. kind of odd.

He is equal to Zuttah.
R.U OL was a huge strength for them

I bet he is not ready to play this year ( even without the injury) at this level.
but WORTH a shot!
