Ronnie was supposed to be a bruiser, that's why he was taken over CAddy , now you guys want to put in chatman? Keep giving the RB the brick, hes got to pay for his greedy holdout!! Bet you right now RB is kicking his greedy agents *** for that stupid move, Brown might have an extra 2 or 3 million, but his once unlimited carreer is now the subject of speculation. The minute I heard about RB's holdout, I thought MO Clarice, God i hope this does not come true. The holdout is why there are so many fans hazing RB! I still support the guy, but he did holdout and hurt our team for couple of million. Common, 19 million versus 16 million, what's the difference. Greed and insurance in case he is a bust, that's the difference, but that means zilch to fans who pay hard earned money to see the FINS. So for alll the "Chill outs," NO I wont, not until our 2nd overall pick and 19 million dollar man starts to act and look the part. That stupid holdout makes me a little pissed at Ronnie and his agent!

I suggested Chatman, as a change of style runner to help Ronnie. Ronnie is still behind from his hold out I believe by a bit. I think what Ronnie needs to do is not to press, and try to make something happen by playing his game. He needs to stop the west to east dance, and when the hole presents itself, hit it with out hesitation.

Now this I agree with, the holdout definately hurt Ronnie(it shows in his play) he should have had his butt in TC learning as much as he could. This is alot better than Ronnie is a bust crap.

Give the young man a chance, he is 2 games into his career, and all of a sudden, everyone is this forum is Don Shula.
Here is how Ronnie stacks up against the leagues best three RB's of all time.
This is each of their rookie years, then you can quit your whining.

W. Payton....679 yards, 7TD
J. Brown...942 yds, 9TD
E. Smith...937 yds, 11 TD

Now if you take note, none of them topped 1000 yards, and only one had double digit TD's. I cant remember, but i think that each of them went on to have pretty good careers, dont you?

GIVE HIM A CHANCE!!!

Don't worry, I'm not a "Ronnie's a bust" type poster. I used that example in another thread. Even Saban said he is not disappointed in Brown, and we all know Saban is quite frank when he answers the media's question (Brook trout, anyone?).

Edit: So yeah, we are on the same page here.

Sorry, wasnt busting onyou, you were just the on that i happened to click the quote button on. I am with you my friend, i think that he can be something special, but we wont know until he gets a year, or even two under his belt. Not many backs suceed their first year, or even two. Cadillac will cool off, i guarantee that.

I could be wrong but I really don't think it's about the holdout for most of these haters...I think it's all about Caddy's early success.

he is gonna cool off, he has to, he plays us in a couple weeks!! :D

Man F Ronnie Brown. That slow greedy S.O.B is stinking out the joint. I don't care about the comparisons to Payton and Emmitt. The bottom line is that he thought he was still in college. In the pros you have to have your behind in training camp if you intend to be more than a check casher. That and only that is the reason why Caddy Williams is lighting up the league and Ronnie ain't doing squat. Last week he had some holes, but he took a freaking hour to hit them. Beyond that, almost everyone he is playing against is a month ahead of him. Until I see him doing something, I will continue to say F Ronnie Brown!!!!!!

WOW, Emmitt, is that you, you must have been a GREAT RB in your day. Who did you play for and why did you stop playing. I also think you should apply for a coaching position next year.
Its this kind of crap that we dont need, are you really a true dolfan? I bet if he dropped 100 on carolina this week, your tune would change....just have faith brother, let the man do his thing. You gotta remember, football is his job, if you werent happy with your salary, would you want to renegociate?

Yes, I love the hostility. First of all, I am a fan to the heart. I live in the land of the New York Jets, and I still poke my chest out proudly for my team. However, truth is truth. Pro football requires dedication in my opinion. Contrary to popular belief training camp is important. I am sick of giving cats passes for B.S ing. At my job, when I am asked to report to work I report to work. I don't have any sympathy for someone that arrives to work a MONTH LATE, and works like garbage when they get there. Ronnie Brown will be on my FU list until I see him playing on the level that Zach, Taylor, and others played in their ROOKIE YEARS. And neither one of them were the SECOND PICK IN THE DRAFT.
