I personally think there is no chance of this happening. I think it was all created by media speculation with no real substance. I think it just something for fans to talk about and dolfans to dream about, but at the end of the day just a dream.

A few years ago, I was saying pretty much the same thing about the chances that Ditka would actually trade away so much to pick Ricky Williams, that surely he had to be greatly overstating his interest. And then the draft came....

Edit: Didn't see the poll. What I think will happen is that Miami will first trade down with Atlanta, and then trade the 3rd pick to Dallas for slightly less then what they would ask for for the #1 overall.

the recent events between miami and dallas exchanging personnel plus the zack thing makes me beleive that it is not just a rumour ...it is a fact that some sort of negotiation is going on . you`ll see a handshake between miami and dallas again before draft day ...beleive me .

Do you think releasing ZT without trying for a draft pick is some under the table deal with Dallas? Maybe allowing them to sign him without giving anything up is part of some deal to come ??

I just don't see it working out. Sure, their 2 firsts and Barber looks nice, but I don't think we want to move back that far. I also don't think it's a good trade for them.

The likely scenario is that we stay put and draft one of the Longs. If we are able to trade out of the pick, I think we'd be more likely to do it with someone like Atlanta. I would love to trade down, I just don't see the incentive for other teams to make a move.

This is highly unlikely. Zach was released so he was free to sign w/ anyone regardless of what our front office intended. He went to college in Texas, it was probably the most comfortable situation for him. I'm also guessing Dallas offered him more $$$ than NE who is trying to clear space to resign Moss.

Zach was released to sign with whatever team he wanted (that wanted him). He was free to play for a winning team instead of waiting on this poor team for 2-3 years before we become contenders again. Your looking to much into it I think. Who knows?

Not gonna happen. And after looking over the history of trading down I don't even see it as a smart move for the Dolphins anyway. JJ was by most peoples account a good draft day coach but look over what he accomplished with all the trades he did in Miami, I would say he accomplished nothing but made himself look busy. The #1 pick should be a given pro bowler for years, why screw that up on a gamble?

The only trades likely to happen will teams trying to move to the early part of the 2nd and maybe late 1st. I can't see any of these other trades happening except some player trades ie J.Taylor,S.Rogers,T.Williamson.

this will go down bill get his boy the barbarion and jj get his boy d-mac
