Brandon Marshall was acquired from Denver in 2010 for two 2nd round picks. He was given a 4 year, $47.5 million contract extension with $24 million guaranteed. He was traded in 2012 for two 3rd round picks.

He was towards the bottom of the list. They tend to blend together, when i wrote it i felt that was the better option then spacing out all the signings, the post was long enough and that saved room.

My bad.

That being said, never liked the Marshall trade to begin with.

Yeah. I would rather have kept our two second round picks. I don't like Marshall and I don't think he is as good as everyone thinks. The only way he is great is if he has a quarterback forcing him the ball. Not to mention I dislike his personality, to "me" orientated. I live in Colorado so I got to see a lot more interviews with him and the guy just comes off as Super selfish. Only thing I liked about the trade was the fact that it pissed off Denver fans.
 
Yea...taking another look at that list now...it doesn't look much better.

We didn't get good value for the Marshall trade - that's the part that infuriates me. At the time I couldn't stop bashing Ireland for only getting 2 3rds. I still feel that was poor value and if we couldn't get better we should have kept him. He is a reception and TD machine - even if he is a douche. Wallace isn't a cool guy either...and is very selfish IMO... We'd be much better if we had both of these idiots catching passes for us though.
