Jason Taylor will be missed.
6 Pro Bowl selection - tied for 4th most amongst DE since the merger
1 Defensive Player of the Year award
8 defensive touchdowns (3 int & 5 fumble) - most ever since the merger

Yes he will be missed. I just hope it's not as much as I think he will be.

I would also add there is not price for the amount of time and effort in put in supporting, not only his own, but various charitable events. He raised countless dollars that helped many people, not only in Miami, but around this country. We will all have our opinions on how this thing played out. However, there is no doubt in my mind, that we witnessed a pretty special guy, on and off the field, a should be thankful for this and wish him luck. Just my thoughts. Thanks Jason and God Bless

I second that!!!!

In this day and age of salary cap one cannot add up a trade in the way most long-standing fans have become accustomed in our memory.

Jason wanted out.

He had a chance to transcend the bad feelings and fight on to be part of the organization to the end of his career but he did not want that.

Parcels and company did the absolute right thing in getting rid of him.

The message to the team is worth the price of admission.

Now that he is a Redskin I do not care about him as an athlete at all. I wish him a good life and hope that he becomes a Dolphin hall of famer but if he never plays another successful down in the NFL I could care less.

what he did in the past doesn't matter when you're making a trade like this...what matters is that he DIDN'T want to play for us anymore and we got a 2nd and a 6th for a guy that would have been gone by the time we're ready to make a run anyway..wake up people...we got the best of the deal by far.

Ozzy rules!!

Considering he put the Fins in a negotiating hole, and promised to play only 1 more year if it's for us, the answer is "yes," we got the best end of the deal we could under these circumstances.

Well said. Jason was a class act and a great football player. He will be extremely difficult to replace. Parcells and company have to hit on the 2nd rounder we received from Washington to make it a good trade.
