lol we've been running Wildcat plays since 2006. You do know that right? We just dont run it as much as you guys do. You definitley made it popular but the Jets have been using WC plays for 3 seasons now. Ever since we drafted Brad Smith and Leon Washington.
True, but it's unlikely anybody in the NFL would be using it in 2008 if it weren't for Miami.

I'm not particularly proud of fooling teams with a formation that's been used since the 1960s. Yeah yeah, Wildcat, blah blah....Bet you a million dollars we don't use it next year.
lol many teams have a formation with the single wing . . . maybe use it once a game . . . or once a month . . . but teams do use it . . . well before this season. The reason why the wildcat got so much pub is because we scored FIVE TOUCHDOWNS out of that formation @ New England . . .snapping their win streak. Ronnie threw a Td . . . and ran for 4 more.
The Arkansas Razorbacks made it real popular last year . . . and I even remember the Miami Hurricanes running it with Graig Cooper and Javarris James last year . . . but teams have been using it for a while.
No question I have never seen a team use it as much as we have this year . . . and its not done yet, but I think we had to give it a break for a little bit . . . crank it up for the Jets and hopefully the playoffs.

btw, just my opinion but we don't have to pluralize "the jest." Just like the Miami Heat. It makes their nickname funny & clever unlike our 3 division rival's weak attempts. It's fitting because they have been/ will continue to be jokes and we use all of the letters those idiots spell out. just saying...

We have been running alot longer than since '06, we ran it when Vinny was our QB in 2001.
