This is sickening to watch the Indianapolis organization throw away the opportunity at a perfect season.

It only makes it worse because it gift wraps a playoff birth for the unworthy Jests. Unreal. Now they get to play the Bungles next week as well who will Im sure be resting starters as well and if the Jets win they are in the playoffs.

The league sometimes seems to lose integrity in some of these spots at the end of the season.

They still have Cincy to play.

It goes to show you how valuable Peyton Manning is to that team

Im not so sure the Bungles dont rest starters as well. This is bs.

Cincy can still be a #3 or #4 seed, but is that difference really worth playing guys like Carson Palmer the whole game? Cinci could treat it as their bye week heading into the playoffs.

Besides, isnt there a chance they wind up playing the Jets in the playoffs if the Jets beat them? If that is the case, no way Cinci gives their full run at the game considering if they go all out and lose, they give a lot of info to the Jets for the playoff game.

Agreed. This makes me sick. Give the Jets credit because their defense has been great. But if Indy (and Cincy for that matter) just play their regulars...the Jets lose both games. I can't believe they are gonna end up making the playoffs (yes I'm giving them a win over Cincy next week because I bet they rest their regulars).

Who cares? We swept them. Gotta love it.

Id rather have split and have them at home watching us play a playoff game in 2 weeks. I certainly dont want to watch them play in the playoffs. Takes away all the sweetness of sweeping them IMHO.

This is exactly how I feel.

Let me say I will NEVER root for the Colts organization ever again.

I used to root for them in spots where it didnt hurt us in any way if they win. Ive often rooted for them in the playoffs. I always had much respect for Mannings skills and liked watching him play.

But, after this disgrace today, I cant root for that orginization ever again. It certainly isnt Mannings fault, but the FO and coaches are ****ing idiots.

Why would you not want to try and go undefeated? That is a great accomplishment. It makes no sense to not give it a shot. You already have the first 14 in the books.

I dont buy that whole bs about the pressure. If you dont feel pressure in the playoffs no matter if you went 16-0 or 15-1, then you arent human.

I think thats all bs about the extra pressure. It isnt why the Patriots got beat. They got beat because of Michael Strahan, Justin Tuck, Osi, and Eli Manning in the clutch at the end of the game.

**** the Colts. I hope the Chargers beat their ***. I suspected they were going to whether the Colts went undefeated in the regular season or not.

Bill Polian has said that the perfect season, momentum, and other stuff is overrated when it comes to the big picture.

They want to win a superbowl, and having something happen to Peyton or another key starter in a meaningless game is not a rick they want to take.

Who they let into the playoffs along the way of them resting doesn't matter to them, and shouldn't to us. Our team could have got us in the playoffs, and they didn't.

What makes it even worse is those Jets fans are going to come out of the wood work saying how they are so much better because the beat the undefeated Colts and if they beat the Bengals (which could rest their starters) and make the playoffs they will be coming out of the wood work. Not to mention how many people are losing their fantasy championships because Manning was pulled.

i agree with u, but i dont no about not rooting for the colts again. the thing for me is that i love peyton manning bc he resembles our beloved dan marino the most. he also is such a class act player, and i would love for him to win another superbowl.

its not his fault that he got pulled, he wasnt to thrilled with the idea it seemed.

I think it's obvious that Polian and company would rather (possibly) face Sanchez and the Jets than teams like the Ravens or Steelers in the postseason. I certainly don't agree with the decision, but I understand where they're coming from. :ponder:

lol like they are thinking about that. The Jets probably lose round 1 with a rookie QB if we make it. We could be playing the Bengals back to back weeks. If we win next week we are the 5th seed and the Bengals would be the 4th I believe unless the Patriots lose then IDK what it would be.

But would be pretty funny if the Jets make the playoffs, talk about karma biting the Dolphin fans right in their a55.
