Radio reports here in New York are saying that the Jets Herman Edwards is rumored to be heading to KC for a 4th & 5th rd draft pick. The announcement could come as soon as tonight.

Possible replacements include Heimedinger? or Mike Tice.

This is good news Fin fans. New offensive & defensive philosophies take a while to yield results. The Jets are in trouble.
 
I thought NFL decided teams can't trade draft picks for coach. Last one was by Tampa Bay for Chucky......
 
i heard the same thing up here in NY. They're saying that it's pretty much a done deal. They're just working out the details of the trade. Supposedly NY will recieve two mid round picks, possibly rounds 3-5.
 
picks can be used, but only for head coaches...

this will be moved in T-minus 3 min.
 
thank god they are middle round picks and not like what tampa had to give up (8 million bucks to raiders owner + two 1sts and two 2nds)

i bet al davis wish he kept gruden cause raiders are a total ****ing mess.

HAHAHAHA.

jets fans will be pissed off after sucking another year and wished they kept him.
 
I hope they get Norv, there's nothing better than seeing the Jets sink like the Titanic.

Hello Everyone!


Because the staff at FinHeaven is always looking for better ways to organize, and streamline the site, we've decided to re-structure a portion of it.
You'll notice that what was once the College| Draft Forum has now been split.
We've renamed the original forum to simply "College Football" and created a new forum called "Draft Forum". We are now in the process of moving threads around so that they are in the appropriate forums.
We've also created a new sub-forum within the General NFL forum, called "Free Agents".
We ask that you keep these forums in mind when posting, as we'd like to continue keeping the main Dolphins forum uncluttered, and pertaining to the current Dolphins team.

When posting, please keep these guidelines in mind:

Miami Dolphins - Please keeps threads related to current Dolphins players/staff etc here

College Football - Please keep threads related to current college teams/players/games here

Draft Forum - Please keep mock drafts/draft wish lists/potential draft picks, etc in here.

Free Agents - Please keep discussions about potential free agents here.

We realize that this may mean an adjustment for everyone, but we feel that in the long run it will make things easier for all of us. Not only will it make it "cleaner" and uncluttered in the main forum, but it will also make it easier to find the FA discussions, mock drafts etc...

If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to contact the Staff either by PM or by posting in the Questions and Comments forum.

Knowing what I have with Edwards, there are a few guys out there I would take over Herm. Ferentz, Rivera, Kubiak to name a few. I think Heimerdinger will make a good HC, and without Herm's conservative style, he will help rebuild the offense and make it a strong unit.
 
Sweet! the Jets are gunna be screwed... there are no great canidates out there right now IMO...
