The Jets @ the Saints a Preview

Jets need to establish a running game. With no runnig game the Jets could be in for a long day.

Or perhaps the Jet's defense can stop Brees and Co.?

I agree that the Jets need to establish the run and against an average D like the Saints, they will have a good opportunity to do so. If they end up in a shoot-out there will be only one winner. But if they can keep Brees off the field and sustain long drives and get points at the end of those drives, they unfortunately have a great chance to win.

Some media outlets are running with how this will be Sanchez's biggest game. If the Jets can help it, I'm sure they just hope e plays mistake free and can hand it off to Jones and Washington for the majority of the game.

This is going to be a tough one for the Jets to win. It's asking a lot of Sanchez to win a shoot out against Drew Brees and that Offense so the Jets running game is going to have to get going and the D is going to have to play well.

I'll be mildly surprised if the Jets pull out a W here. The offense is not quite ready to keep up with them in a shootout and I question whether the D can contain them for 60 minutes in their house. They'll definitely need long, time consuming drives on offense like they pulled off against Houston and some big plays on special teams. It'll be interesting to see how the D matches up against that O.
