The Keep Bua Bandwagon All Aboard!!!

I have a hard tiem supporting the guy when he hasn't done anyhting but one monster hit lst year in one game. Other than that he has done zippo.

Brendan has been solid for this franchise(Pro Bowl Alternate in 04)but he was not in the plans. He received no reps at all on Sat night on defense and very few throughout the preseason. He also was removed from first team units on teams not bc of his play but bc they had to work with guys who will be on this team.
 
I view him as a luxury player, a little enforcer who can make exclamation points with a special teams big hit if you're a pat team, so to speak, with plenty of kickoffs to cover and an otherwise enviable roster. In our case we can't afford a luxury thug. He was never anything but a very slow safety. The LB thing was an amazing reach with a frame like that. Bua blew a chance for Arkansas to finish off a miracle comeback vs. the Gators when he senselessly speared Chris Leak in 2003. Arkansas intercepted on the play but Bua's dumb play wiped it out. I live for Gator losses so that bonehead play will always be Tony Bua's claim to infamy for me.
 
we miami fans lose our patience way to fast, we have done it with feeley we have done it with Bua as well as Gus, Seth, Whitley, Smith, seth has 1 year of ex and they want to cut him? Bua just switched positions give the guy some time. And as for smith and whitley they are both under 25 and dont have more than a year of starting experience

Exactly! Atleast Jason Glenn INT'd a pass and ran it for a TD. I haven't really seen anything special about Bua. I still think he's going to make the team though because we don't have enough depth at safety.
 
look our roster is at 75, u should asume Rhodes, Romero, Winston, Eiland, Hunt, Delahoussaye, Jones/Turk, Walters, Moa, Mann, Wilson, Thomas, Ephraim, Reed, to be cut and Gordon Morris, Derrius, Lee, Jeff, whitley, on the ropes
 
He will be cut.

Just because he puts one good block, during the Rams game, LAST year.. doesnt give him a roster spot. He hasnt done squat the rest of the time.

Give me a break. Hes gone.
