I agree that Wayne is a big part of this, but unless he's willing to give us a huge discount, I see things getting held up financially. We need $$ for other moves. Wayne, while important for Manning, is going to be viewed as optional by Ireland.

When you look at the roster and the cap hit, there are several guys that play special teams and are seldom used back ups(that have zero upside) that are making some serious coin. Trusnik is making 1,000,000 a year for cripes sake.
Manning and Wayne can both be signed. We will have to replace a few guys(dead wood) with draft picks or bargain basement FA's, but it is possible. Long and Dansby account for 23M+ of the cap. I can understand Long, but Dansby's paycheck doesnt match his performance. This is why we should draft Keuchly at #8, so we can jettison 11M off the cap, and bingo...cap room. DThomas could be cut too, he brings nothing to the table that Slayton cannot provide.
