First off we must win this game to have a good shot at the divison if we lose even if the Pats lose I think we have very little shot if we lose this game at the divison. at the same time the Chargers need a win to keep pace in the wild card and they have a shot at their divison still. so to win this game we must:
#1- most importantly we have to stop Tomlinson, he is what makes their offense good and he is the best RB their is but to have a shot we have to stop him
#2- blanket A.Gates, he is the biggest playmaker outside of Tomlinson and he is a big match-up problem for our secoundary much like Crumpler was for Atlanta
#3- establish a good running game, we have the RBs to do it but SD is the best running defense in the league but we have to keep balanced for Frerotte to be effective
#4- get ahead early, when we fall behind our running game is less effective and the pressure gets put on Frerotte. with an early lead our D can blitz alot which will help stop Tomlinson
