the lack of linebacker talent is alarming.

Needs to be seriously and aggressively addressed in the offseason. Every lb position is below average. Jenkins is a good backup to fill in for a few weeks and that is about it.
 
The Patriots make it a habit of exposing everyone's weaknesses but yes, our LBs are not elite.
 
It's sad; the same holes that should have been filled prior to this season are the same holes that need to be filled for next season. What a waste of a year! At least Philbin is gone though... now they just need to replace the offense and defense he wanted.
 
Terrible. Misi and Jenkins MIGHT be backups on other teams. Sheppard? Maybe practice squad. They don't get much help from not even practice squad Aikens either.
 
If only you guys were the LB's , then we'd be UNBEATABLE!
 
ban, why? he's just telling the truth lol. There are many people in this world who dont play the PC Police game, and would rather tell it like it is. They can be annoying, but i cant hate on a person for exposing the truth lol
 
I got an edgy opinion here, but although our linebackers are not playing great, they are not playing terribly, and they are not even the biggest issue on defense.

Free Safety and CB2 look like MUCH bigger issues to me right now. 22 and 35 IMO our worst players on defense.

Overall, defense is playing well enough for us to win and should be proud of tonight's effort.
 
CB then ILB. Jenkins is fine, Misi and Shep are absolutely terrible.

Right. Even with some poor play, the defense is keeping them in the game. Unfortunately, the offense is terrible and giving the game away. I'm looking forward to next year already, and hopefully some major changes will be made.
