The Laremy Tunsil trade

People try to compare it to the Dallas trade in the 90s, but there’s a slight difference in that led to multiple Super Bowls and Miami can’t even kick up a 7th seed playoff spot.
 
Texans will probably rebuild and get back to the playoffs before Miami does lol

Miami at one point was 1st in the AFC. If the chargers win tomorrow, they’ll probably be the last the team to clinch if at all. Lmao can’t make that up .

The Tunsil trade was a complete fraud of false hope. Like this entire franchise. Our first round in 2020 with three first rounders has gone up in flames. Igby And AJ likely released this offseason. Tua not far behind. Jets have drafted better and just need the QB due to missing on Wilson.
 
The issue with trading talent for picks that you need to also hit on those picks to make the trade beneficial to the team. A first or multiple picks sound nice but you got to hit on those picks too.

We traded off Tunsil and Fitzpatrick for firsts. That 2020 draft didn’t pan out as we wanted it to.
 
Kinda looks like we netted a bag of peanuts at this point. Still waiting for Ajax, Igi is a joke, Tua is running out of chances, Chubb has been a JAG.

I'm at a loss for words after these loses...
 
The 4 years before the Tunsil trade Miami finished 4th, 2nd (playoff), 3rd, and 2nd in the division.

The 4 years since the trade Miami finished 4th, 2nd, 3rd, and is currently 2nd in the division.

If you can get that kind of a haul for an OL, you have to do it. Not like Tunsil has been a HOF'er since then
