I have to go NFL HC experience. I'm done with learn as you go for a while-Cameron, Sparano, Philbin..
 
It doesn't matter to me. I want someone who wants to be our HC, someone who wants to take our team and turn them back into the perennial playoffs and SB contenders we used to be back in the day. Whether that's an assistant coach going after his first HC job, or someone who's been a HC before and just needs a change of scenery. It really doesn't matter to me as long as he gets the job done.
 
Does not matter, quality is quality, and garbage is garbage. You can find a quality HC from the former NFL HC, College HC, Assistant coaches, or anywhere, as well as fail going in any of these directions.

I think a requirement needs to be HC experience at some level. We need a leader, not a specialist.
 
One guy recently suggested Jimbo Fisher the more I think about it I actually like that hire.
 
To me it doesn't matter....Chip Kelly has been a winner in Philly....he came to the Eagles from Oregon with no NFL experience. If you can coach and have the right system...that's all that matters.

Only a big name this time. Gruden, Shanahan, Cowher, that kinda guy. I too am tired of trying to 'make" a NFL Head Coach out of something else. I realize these guys all have flaws too but I'm willing to live with that.
 
I want the exact amount of experience that Todd Bowles has. But I'm pretty sure we'll get some "name", even if he's washed up. With our luck I wouldn't be surprised if Ross convinces Jimmy Johnson to come back and mope around here for another couple of years.

Dabeast, you can take Gruden off the list. He doesn't want to coach. He just signed for 7 more years of TV. Nice gig if you can get it. He can.
