The Last Drive

this drive was very inspiring to me today. i have been waiting to see our boys put a game away when they needed to. i loved this drive, big 3rd down conversions. this was a huge step for this team and a fun day to be a fan.

yep were were biting our fingernails about the clock and talking about that drive in the chat room today, just awesome to finally see us finish a game.

the oline today was very good overall, any time you have a 100 yard rusher the oline is playing some ball. special teams held sproles in check and that was huge, great team victory.

The old Giants, Cowboys, and dare I say it the damn Buffalo Bills used to salt away the game by running it down your throat. Love to see the energy on this team. Talking **** to the chargers with Matt Roth right in the middle of it. Beautiful game, let someone else return kickoffs though.:)

This was the highlight of the game for me. Sitting in front of gamecast on nfl.com because the game was not broadcast here, holding my breath waiting for the results of each play, being able to not clench up as it became clear that this team was STUFFING THE BALL DOWN THEIR THROATS EVEN WHEN THEY KNEW IT WAS COMING and sprinkling in a couple of well timed passes to keep them on their heels.............Simply awesome. We are back

Absolute thing of beauty and the main reason we are a much better team capable of winning close games. In the NFL, almost every game will be decided by one score. To win these games you will need to be able to kill clock when you are leading in the late stages.

To do that you need a strong running game(check) and a smart efficient QB that can convert 3rd and short and 3rd and medium in big spots(check). We havent had both of those in years. This is just great.

There is no better feeling than lining up when the other team knows youre going to run and still get tough yardage and move chains while their offense painfully watches on the sidelines while you kill all hope of them getting the ball and scoring to tie or win. Beautiful. Best part of the game today was that drive.

I loved the hit Ronnie Brown put on Cromartie on that last drive. That sounded like it hurt and Ronnie was having the time of his life. The score might have be 17-10 but this was a blow out. That last drive was a thing a beauty and you just knew they weren't going to be stopped. You could see in the players eyes on the offense. Oline hi-fiveing everyone the players weren't gong to let the other one down and the energy was awesome. This isn't your last seasons Fins and everyone can see that. Was great to see after the bye week. Was really hoping this team wouldn't come out flat and they didn't. Roth played lights out as well. Love the new attitude.
