The Last Fews Years….

I’ve been flying down for games I have not been to Shula’s Steakhouse. I would go there on a yearly basis but have been opting for South Beach restaurants the last few years
I never really went there for the food, although it was good it wasn’t great, went more for the ambiance because all the Fin fans would congregate there. Met some Fins there also, Bokamper, Olivier Vernon, Brian Hartline and some others

Anyway, is it still there? Anyone have some good memories there?

Sad to see it leave Miami. The Steak House in Tampa ( Sheraton Hotel) is now gone too. Service and Food were always very good. The Ambiance.... perfect.

i was there years ago and had something like a 6pm reservation. got there like 5:30 and they had me waiting on a back deck overlooking golf course. a few minutes later i see a security guard checking out the deck and looking at me and my wife. with that i see jason taylor and zach thomas and dave wannstadt walking towards us.. jason taylor makes eye contact with me and my wife and gives us a little hello nod. after that about 25 other dolphins are on the deck just hanging out with us. jay fiedler was sitting next to me. the security guard wasn't bothering me and my wife because i guess we were there first and i wasn't bothering any players. he was stopping other guests who saw the players and were trying to get on the deck. i remember a few of the offensive lineman and it looks like they were placing bets on some of the golfers who were putting and whether or not they would make the putt. i was told they were having the pre game dinner there. we had had great meal there and it was great hanging with some players

How is the flight from Borneo?
 
If you go to the one in Miami Lakes you would get to see my name on a plaque for devouring the 48oz. porterhouse (with appetizer and dessert of course)!!!!! Such a proud moment.........:hclap:

We have 2 in Orlando here, and I still visit them. Odd to hear the Miami ones are no longer...
 
The wife and I had our engagement dinner at Shula's in Baltimore, and we used to go to the Shula's in Center Valley, PA for our anniversary every year.

Now that I'm in SW FL, I'll be taking her to the Naples location...before they all disappear.
