First off i was not impressed with rb yesterday and yes i thought to myself man this guy might be a bust like a lot of you have. the threads are going crazy about rb being a bust, the truth is no one knows he could be a bust or he could be average or a star you just cant tell after 2 games. so posting all these threads and polls are stupid its all negative, what if ronnie or another player gets on this site and reads all this garbage how would that make a young rookie feel? the guy is trying and still learning he is ours we need to support him and if he turns into a bust i promise saban will take care of it.
so the next time you start to post a negative thread about rb think about it how is it going to help us?

I think it is all "arm chair quarterback" syndrome. The guy is a beast, he's already had a few tackle breaking runs. He just has to get used to the speed of the NFL. I don't know if we should be starting him, and probably won't be when Ricky comes back. I think we would be better served to have him come in against a tired D and build his confidence.

And he isn't a bust until the staff gives up on him. When he stops playing in the games he's a bust.

Anyway, a 2.7 average isn't bad considering he hasn't broken like a 20 or 30 yard run. He's only had 34 attempts.

oh and one other thing the guys picked in front and behind rb are not even starters!

My favorite thing is how people are posting how great Ricky Williams is and yet Ricky didn't exactly set the world on fire his first two starts.

i guess the whole damn draft was a bust exept for caddalic! smith has played a few snaps, edwards has cought a pass, pac man has done nothing,
benson is not starting.

I think its typical of the short attention span generation, they have no patience and expect everything to happen right away.

They make snap judgements off of very little information.

History, hopefully, will have its ubiquituous habit of repeating in this instance! :) Ricky Williams and Edgerrin James were drafted in the same year. Edge really took off in his rookie season and Ricky didn't crack the 1,000 yard barrier. I suspect that some people in some coaching, media and fan circles have considered Ricky as a bust.

Fast forward to 2005, and Ricky is one of the premier franchise backs of the league. So is Edgerrin James, as well. The same parallels certainly seem to exist with Ronnie and Cadillac. This is why I'm giving Ronnie the benefit of doubt for his first season and I really only want to see improvements and progression into being a franchise RB by the end of the year, not by the 2nd game, 3rd, etc.

Cadillac certainly is very impressive and kudos to Tampa Bay in shrewdly picking him at the #5 slot overall and quickly signing him in time for training camp! Hopefully, the optimistic Dolphin inside me will be able to enjoy Ronnie as a franchise RB by year 2 and onwards.

Bust

SOME of you guys just get me more mad then the fact of the Fins losing yesterday!!!! ITS JUST ONE GAME!!! Have you ever had a bad day at the office??????????? These guys WILL rebound...I hate losing and really hate losing to the jets but this Dolphins team is Good yes there's problems but that can be fix. Or you'll forgetting this is the same team that beat Denver and look good doin it.. so they had a bad game yesterday. Would you like to trade the whole team because of one lose????????????? GET REAL! I'm tired of hearing the BUST talk from Jason, Ronnie... who's next SABAN!
