The Dolphins look good in terms of the salary cap. If a couple high end players agree to a restructure of their contracts, Then the Dolphins will be able to sign a top notch QB next year and have a good look at free agency. Sabin did a great job with the draft this year and what he could with free agency considering what WannySpeil left him to work with. If Sabin is like Belichek(spelling) then he will use the draft wisely to bringing in good, young, inexpensive talent, and use the saved money to pick at free agency.

because they have guys to replace him.

The Eagles do well, because there are only a few positions that they considering incredibly important. QB obviously, DE, and a few others. The Eagles draft so well that when guys demand expensive contracts, they're gone, and are replaced with younger guys that have talent.
