"Former Arizona offensive lineman Pete Kendall is expected to decide by today where he will sign, after receiving interest from approximately 16 teams, agent Neil Schwartz said Thursday.

Schwartz declined to discuss the negotiations, but the Dolphins were one of several teams to make an offer to Kendall. They don't appear to be a leading contender for his services. At least two other teams made multiyear offers for Kendall."

"The Dolphins are in the mix to secure a deal with recently released guard/center Pete Kendall.

Kendall's agent, Neil Schwartz, said four teams have offered multi-year deals and he hopes something will be done today."

I'm trying to dig up some info on who else might be interested.

Looks like the Lions are serious about bringing him in. They've already stolen a Pro Bowl C/G from us this offseason. Grrrr....

It makes sense, too. That line is pretty good except at LG. They've got two good tackles, they've got Woody at RG and the very solid Dominic Raiola at C. Kendall would ensure that Joey Harrington never gets his uniform dirty (they only allowed 11 sacks last year).

The Jets are another one that looks to be a serious contender.

Is he really worth a look.
Green talked specifically about a host of games last year where he appeared to single him out for some reason.

"When asked again for his reasons, Green said he focused on five games from last season: losses to Chicago, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Detroit and San Francisco."

Was it these games our the Collective bargaining agreement violation brought on by veteran complaints that lead to his release.

Unless I'm mistaken, Kendall hurt himself in the SF game, which ended his season.
I think it's more the CBA violation that led to his release. Of all the problems that line had, Kendall was not one of them.

I wouldn't hold my breath since we've lost out on a few players before this offseason but we can use this guy.But we also need Ogun and we can't spend all the money on Kendall.

Ozzy rules!!
