Sorry Beck haters, after a slow start to camp it looks like things are just beginning to gel for our number one hope at quarterback- some deeper throws and a pertfect endzone pass on a broken play. He is finally settling in and will blow away the competition over the next couple of weeks.

It's one day. But, we were waitin for him to have a real good day because Josh had one and I think Chad had one in there somewhere so it's a nice start. We'll see if he keeps it up.

maybe your number one hope. I just hope for a damn qb whoever it may be to do well. One interpetation of a pratice though is not exactly gelling lol.

I have no personal like or dislike of any of them. Just find someone who can move us down the field and into the endzone. Can't have the 3 and outs. If the ground game does come together as we hope it will then we only need a decent passing threat too keep em honest on defense.
before i start, I AM A MAJOR BECK FAN but u are using 1 evening of practice to blow the smoke away of a weeks worth? can you give it more then 1 practice to throw out something like that? I am just saying it so you can build this off of some momentum, consistency, and incase u get bit in the arse u dont eat ur own crow. jsut a heads up its always better to wait for some consistency

He had an absolutely beautiful morning practice, though. And frankly his evening practice wasn't any worse than anybody else's.
As much as I want Beck to do well, Im going to need more than todays practice to prove to me he can improve. I like his work ethic, and his commitment to getting better, it just seems like the kid needs to relax and have some fun. He can have fun right? Is that allowed on the Mormon path?

I dont want to be hard on our qbs and i want all of them to be scucessful . the reality of the nfl is you need to show marked improvement from your rookie year to year 2 because the presure to win is heavy so whoever is the qb needs to throw the ball downfield with success or else our rbs could end up injured again . I think it would be best for fin fans not to accept a poor passing game and then over rely on the running game that was why sucked last year.
