If i have to watch these sorry *** losers get trounced one more time on Thanksgiving i am going to punch a hole in the wall. Which is a shame because since Thanksgiving is such a family related holiday, it won't be my wall.

The Lions used to be fun to watch back in the days of Barry Sanders playing in the Silverdome. But now it's past the point of being funny anymore. It just makes no sense to showcase such an futile unsuccessful team with few (if any) marquee players who simply can't compete with WHOEVER they play EVERY single year on Thanksgiving.

Can't they do something? Give us a playoff game rematch every Thanksgiving? Hell play the pro-bowl on Thanksgiving. I don't care do something! Anything but the Lions!

They even wear those god awful uniforms with no logos anywhere......It fits them well, they don't deserve logos.

Since i normally dont eat dinner until about 3 or later i ALWAYS have to suffer through the Lions game and it's ALWAYS horrible. Enough already.

I agree. This conversation though is a battle between the traditonalists and guys like us who want to see a good game. Detroit isn't earning the right to play on Thanksgiving anymore and IMO shouldn't subject us to watching them lose by 37.

Someone will then say, oh don't watch it. Well isn't that the point of a game being ON Thanksgiving, to watch it?

To play devil's advocate. Then why would the NFL put games on the NFL Network when the majority of the population can't watch it?

All the games yesterday were awful to watch. A&M vs Texas played good games the last two years. This year it was over before it started. My thinking with the Cowboys/Seahags and Cardinals/Eagles. Doesn't it make more sense to have Cowboys/Eagles and Seahags/Cardinals?

They'll beat someone, probably Minnesota next week, i can't see them losing again after being completely humiliated at home in front of the entire country.

Oh but you are wrong. My high school team played better than they did in that game. I was embarrassed for them.

Isn't this like the 2nd time this decade that the Lions have flirted with going 0-16?

Yea, but the other time they didnt bring in Culpepper to QB halfway through the season. This year they have a REAL SHOT. With Culpepper at the helm, its as legit a shot as there ever will be to run the table in reverse. They also dont have "the dream killer" Greg Camarillo on the team. So I like their chances.

If anybody can stop them from pulling it off.....its gotta be the AINTS. Only a team as historically as miserable as THE AINTS can save them now.
