In 2007 instead of ___ we should have taken ___
Ginn-Patrick Willis
Beck-LAmarr Woodley

But it goes on and on. And the players we should have taken were way better in college than who we took. And did we trade all of our 1st round picks away. But in the 2006 draft here is who we should have taken

I mean look back at our draft and really none of the players ever really played and def did not make an impact. Why are or were we so bad at drafting good player. Some of these were no brainers. Imagine our team if we would have taken some of these guys instead of the trash we selected. I mean Eddie Moore over Boldin,Jason Allen over Cromartie,Toledo over Brandon Marshall,Roth over Atogwe and babineux.Travis Daniels over Barber , and Kerry Rhodes. No wonder we have been so bad. Plus we traded half of our picks away. I hope we get it together and continue to make smart moves
In 2003 Romo,Kris Dielman,Brackett were undrafted
 
Our front office has been pretty bad, yes.

But hindsight threads are worse. Its over. its done. The guys who made those decisions are gone.
 
Jeez another thread like this, give me a break . . . whats done is done . . . everybody knows our Front office has been bad . . . we have Parcells here now, who wants to think about the past . . . I'm thinking present and future.

I know these Championship games got u guys feeling the blues like we should have been there, it will happen, give the Trifecta some time.

It's missing out on the first and 2nd rounders that hurt the franchise long term. Hindsight is 20/20 but we had ZT on his last legs and PWillis as the perfect apprentice for atleast one year. That was a boneheaded decision, I'd could except drafting Quinn because of the need for a QB but why we passed on Willis really bites the big one. I am a fan of Ginn though and wish him all the best, hopefully he pulls through this upcoming season and makes everyone forget about Willis.
 
The Past

You are right and in 1973 we should have run the ball more against the Raiders and we would have kept the undefeated season going. I hear the Dolphins have a whole new organization now and most are looking to the future.
What did everybody do wrong to not get Marino a ring?

We can talk about hindsight but I said during and right after the 2007 draft that it was horrible in relation to where we chose people and who we passed on. Of course I was blasted as not having a clue but oh well what else is new.
 
And we should've Taken Brady in the first round upteen years ago....No one can ever really project who will blossum in the NFL.

THe past is the past, Get over it and move on to next year
 
looking at a lot of those players though, at the time they were considered good picks.

Will Poole was considered a steal, but he destroyed his knee during a voluntary camp.

Eddie Moore and Wade Smith were not good picks even in 2003. Nor was Fletcher in 01 (great college CB that played Zone and was now asked to play bump and run, not a good idea)

everybody loved the 05 class, they all had a stellar rookie season, but they never developed like we had hoped.

the 06 draft was bad. Allen looks like he could be a contributer as a nickel back, but not much else (and as the number 16 pick, that's unacceptable). I think the rest of the class is gone. (Take that back Rod Wright is still here)

Considering the lackluster play of our ILBs you can argue we should've taken Willis, but Ginn is not a bad player. He still has a lot of growing up to do, but he's not horrible. The rest of the draft though.... put it this way, the nly other one besides Ginn that looks to have any future with the team is Satale, and he doesn't really fit our offense so he could be gone.

Don't get me wrong, a lot of the picks Wanny and Spielman made were bad, but some of those classes looked good at the time (well only the 05 class).
