The Luck Sweepstakes is a 2-team race at this point...

There are 8 teams with 1 or less wins right now. It's definitely a Dolphins vs Colts vs Rams vs Vikings contest right now.
You need to throw in Arizona cause if you think they'll stay with Kolb you're crazy. Their finding out you don't trade for Philly backup QBs the hard way, like we did. And Don't think Denver won't try to trade up to get him.

If we don't finish Number 1, we need the Rams to do it.

That way we can trade them for it since they have Bradford.

Its the Colts I am most concerned about....their owner has came out and publicly said he would consider drafting Luck. I dont see how they slap manning in the face by trading or releasing him if he is healthy enough to come back next season...

The Rams dont concern me at all...they will have a new coach and implement he work with Bradford for a season or two more...theyve already invested in bradford
Basically a public approval of them losing. He's basically consented to them tanking the season. At no point in that interview did he say he wanted to win now or that they still had a chance at the division.

the rams wont take luck. the colts, us, broncos are the teams it will come down to imo. this week is a must loose

thats what i wrote a few weeks ago in a thread i made.

however, after watching this team, we may not need the rams to finish 1. but the rams are deff capable of getting the 1st overall pick. i dont care how bad their division is, etc, they are an awful team also.

Bradford is dog****. The Rams will draft Luck #1, bank on it.

Our ONLY chance of trading up to get the #1 pick is if the Panthers keep tanking. Newton looks good enough that IMO they would trade down.

Why would the Rams give up on Bradford if they do then please trade him to our team now!

C'mon maaaan ...

Debate who the competition is, if you will ...

But Tony's team is Stone Cold Inept. Other teams are just bad ... but, we're INEPT Across the Board!!

Because he blows. And they won't trade him now because Spags and his GM are trying to keep their jobs. Who are they going to trade for? Matt Moore? Yeah, okay.

Seriously anyone that thinks Bradford is good, there's a reason the Rams have the worst offense in the NFL and are getting crushed every week. It's not because they have a good QB. He's not the only problem, but he's definitely not the solution.

I don't see the Rams going after Andrew Luck, or even being a bottom 2-3 team. They just got Brandon Lloyd and have a pretty terrible division, idk how many more times they get to play the Cardinals and Seahawks, but I doubt they get swept by the both of those teams.

Its not a two team race, its probably bout 5-6 team race.

Don't count out the Panthers. Cam Newton is showing just enough that I don't think the Panthers will draft a QB, but he is also playing just badly enough the last couple of weeks that they could damn well land the #1 pick. The NFC South is a tough division.

The Broncos will also be stiff competition. Elway obviously covets Luck and they just traded their best WR to the Rams. John Fox was a bad enough coach to get the #1 overall pick last year, and damn if I don't think he can do it again.

Just for the record ... to put the debate to rest.

EVERY Team with the opportunity will take Luck, PERIOD!!

Luck has the potential to put you on the top 15+ years. Who's going to pass that?????

If a team has a super QB, they would consider a trade (but probably TAKE Luck) ... but there's only a few teams with a super QB & they won't have a chance.

Giving Brandon Lloyd away for a 6th or at best conditional 5th is part of Stanford phenom John Elway's plan to position Tebow and the Broncos for failure.. He's drooling over his fellow alumnus, can identify with him probably better than anyone and will do what he can to get him. Despite their weak division, they're the odds on favorite. Futile Fins, tanking Colts, Rams (who if they get that far will flip Bradford in a heartbeat), AZ and Mn are all serious contenders. IMO it'll boil down to the late season for all of them/us depending on who in their respective divisions (hello NE, Buff, NY in 15th-17th game) who decide it's better to "suck" for a game and take a knee than run the risk of facing Luck at least 2x/season. Watch: towards season end any team which for either positive or negative reasons have nothing to play for will be chanting : "Take a Knee To Lock Out Luck"

I am convinced that NO team can "outsuck" the Dolphins. Heck, the Jets TRIED tonight but the Dolphins wouldn't have any of it! They sucked the hardest. Not even a genius like Belichick could sufficiently outsuck the Dolphins.
