First off let me say I hate reading mock drafts for months and months on end before the draft. To me it is pointless and a waste of time. Because most of it is 13 year olds with their dream scenario BS.
However, now we are a day before the draft. So this is a good time to really discuss this and have a little fun with it.
So how about this, the following is a chart from players 1 -100.. Let's just say these will be the players picked in the draft EXCEPT FOR MIAMI's picks. Miami picks #1,32,57,64,100.. My question for you folks is, who do you pick in the spots based entirely on this chart of players.. You cannot make a pick for a player at 64 if he was slotted at 60 for instance.. You can only go back in such a case and pick a player at 64 or after 64. Just like a real draft.
This is how our staff will have to think. They will have to make choices, obviously.. So by looking at this chart, you know the players selected before you pick, Now tell me who do you choose in each draft slot- Here's the chart-

According to that chart, I've got-
1- Jake Long (obviously)
32- Quentin Groves (but I am so tempted to take Cason instead)
57- To be honest, I can't decide between Godfrey, Fred Davis, Carl Nicks, John Greco, Rachal, Sims, or Duane Brown (boy I wish we had more picks in round two)
64- same as above (lol)
100 - This just shows how good and deep the 2nd and 3rd rounds are. Greco and Nicks are within reach here.
Yeah, I'm going to need another 20 minutes to decide what I want to do with picks 57 and 64. Those 2 picks are huge for us imo.
Furthermore, this makes me want to trade JT even more. For a 2nd rounder we can get a mighty good young player in return. This draft has some very good 2nd round talent. And if we can get a 4th as well for Taylor, we can parlay that 4th with our own 4th (which is the 1st pick in the 4th round) to move up to the 3rd round to pick a player we really like who fell a little.
Alot can be done with a JT trade. People who say we shouldn't trade JT unless we get a 1st rounder back are nuts..
