As Dolphin fans a lot of us suffer from it....After years and years Of Dan carrying average at best teams to the playoffs we fans have gotten spoiled....When is the last time Miami had a TRUE rebuilding year ?????? NEVER! I think we should slow down with the criticism and be patient... the good times are coming.

Amen, my brother. And we'll have a good QB again someday...hopefully next season. It's up to us as fans to just keep the faith.

Lets just say that i have not been as excited as i am this year in awhile, and we are not even playing great yet. I can't wait till it all turns around...

True. I think Dolphin fans took great qb play for granted over the years. It's only been below average the first few years of the franchise and since Marino retired. Seems like forever, though.

If you look around the league, what we're experiencing is more the norm then not. Finding a good QB in this league is rare, difficult and time consuming. We got spoiled by Marino.

Totally agree. Think about how lucky San Fran was to get Young after Montana.

i know it's hard to accept it after being the winningest franchise in the NFL for 40 years, but indeed, rebuilding years happen for everyone. it's the good teams that rebound from them fast

Hi... My name is Mike and I suffer from the Marino syndrome.
Its ok there is Hope....the first few steps of the treatment have already happened the surgical removal of the Wanny and the vacination against Feidler...now we are in the regenarative phase of rebuilding lost tissue....

great post. People should just relax. Especially with the interception at the end of the game. Gus should never have thrown the ball. The play call was fine. Throw the ball away if no one is open. Next year we will have a good QB(hopefully) and we can see what the couaching staff can really do. This team will be better. I DO MISS DAN.

Guys , for some of us we had Griese I , a short WoodStrock era , then Marino. That's about 30 years. Including Earl the Pearl and a great QB Coach in Shula. I want the syndrom to return , cause it's been gone 5 years

:D

Both are great posts.
There is a distinct lack of perspective around here that is flat out scary.

I like what I see about this team.

As Zeke stated, we are much better off just by having unloaded the Wanny/Fiedler marriage from this team.

Early signs are that we had a successful draft with players that can contribute and a few with star potential.

We brought in good FA players to stay at least competitive right now.

They are in the process of instituting more aggressive gameplans in a more aggressive system on both sides of the ball.

It is going to take some time bottom line.
Some people need to take their Prozac and just enjoy the ride.

I have Fiedler syndrome. Let's replace him, then worry about replacing Marino.

Sorry to say , but with Fiedler syndrome , you have no hope.

To compound the problem you have wanny's drafting thrown in there for good measure. So we have to rebuild from the depths of his incompetance. Having said that when we find a decent qb and we will this team will explode on the scene and regain it's rep as one of the top franchises in all of sports.
