Enough already, Terry Glenn, Quincy Carter, just because these guys played for the Cowboys it seems as though any player ever connected in some way to Parcells is suddenly an option for the DOlphins.

I know Dallas went 13-3 last year but they haven't won a playoff game since Tupac died, I don't want another Dallas castoff.

We won't make a push for Favre but Quincy Carter is an option?

We won't even take a look at Chris Henry but 35 year old, twice surgically repaired knee in just 2007, Glenn is an option?

I would have rather kept Marty Booker.

There is other talent than just who has previously played for Parcells, heck lets get Lawrence Taylor out of retirement.

Your probably right...Jason Ferguson is def. to old to be any good. And what would we want with Ayodele and Fasano....more Dallas castoffs. The idea that this team could be built with guys that a team like Dallas decided were expendable is insane. Who cares if all reports say they're having a good camp. We definately need Chris Henry. Every team needs a suspended thug.

the real miami cowboys where the Jimmy Johnson Superbowl teams with all of those CANES!

I hated it last year when Cam was bringing all these players he had ties with. But this is getting ridiculous!

Carter and Glenn are guys that we would bring in and not have to give anything up in return. Do you honestly think that Ireland and Parcells are going to bring in someone that they've coached before ONLY because they have coached him before? I highly doubt that. If Glenn can pass his physical and Carter can perform to a level that's satisfying to Sparano and the gang, THEN they would be in Fins unis. Bringing Favre in here means we have to give up something big in draft picks. Why would you want to bring in an almost 40 year-old QB and give up draft picks? Didn't we just get rid of JT to continue the youth movement? We'd essentially be reversing what we did with the JT trade, which, to me, is a step backwards.

Every player that Parcells and Ireland have brought in that have ties to them in some way have showed a good level of competition in camp. If they bring in people that aren't performing, then I would agree with you. The thing is, all the guys they have brought in from Dallas are performing, so I don't see what the problem is...

I know alot of people don't like coaches bringing in people that
they are familiar with, but take a good look at the teams he's coached and
the most important fact in all of his teams are that they compete at the
highest level. You don't have to like him or even agree with his approach
but you will see a much better team on the field and forget about how bad
the team was.

You don't run the team so your not wanting these guys is irrelevant. The guys who know what they are doing, you know, the front office, bring these guys in for the sake of improving the team.

Why exactly are you so against what the team is trying to do?

I agree with you. We don't need guys like Quincy Carter and Terry Glenn.

Let's develop our young guys now. Its not like we're going to be contenders this year!

This thread reminds me of when I teased my best freind last season calling his team the Detroit Ramaneers
