I was thinking about all of us in here with all of our passion and vigor living and dying with our team and I think I might have put my finger on it.

*WARNING* for those of you that hate my posts anyway, now might be a good time to go walk the dog:

I am mad and well ok hurt! We spend all summer long, hell all our lives anticipating "next season" or "the next game" We see Nick Saban with more coaches then any other team in the league. We see the talent that we think should be able to compete. We buy into all the Hype! (and to be honest I have no clue who started all that superbowl talk.) I dont think any of us require the superbowl or bust. I dont even think most of us really require the playoffs. But I think we do require the entire team to leave their best on the field for our hard earned dollar. Yep, OUR MONEY! Not to mention our Devotion to a, if you think about it a rediculous waste of time. But we sure love it.

You know how much it costs to bring a small family to a game. Into the hundreds sometimes and probably most of you are like me, I dont have a lot of expendable income. If I go to a movie I expect Al Pacino to give his best and not mail it in. I expect Russel Crowe to be all my money can buy. And I expect the Dolphins to put the best product on the field possible. And what I have seen this year for whatever reason is these guys with the exception of maybe (Wes Welker) have been mailing this in and I am pissed! Heck, I dont even care if they lose as long as it looks like they left it all on the field.

So to bring it down to a personal level. I am mad, hurt, angry and what ever else you can think of to describe it. I feel like they just arent buying into any of it. There. That's my rant!!

................. and I'm all out of scotch too.
 
I really don't know man our team is playing with no passion or pride. They get their ***** handed to them by the Texans but no one's doing anything about it. We need some new faces in here and we need them fast because the guys that are here now aren't getting the job done.

I feel ya man,you know what irks me the most and i wrote a thread about this, was who do we think we are what has this team ever done to be overconfident,we should be a hungry angry team but you know what, were the complete opposite, where does this come from,is it our culture down here in south beach that creates a bunch of pansies,and its not just this year, its been like this for 30 years man!! even when dan was here we were totally soft on D with no running game,

I swear saban needs to take this team away for training camp next year,, bunch of pansies,,,hey dirk, thanks for creating a heartfelt thread,i feel a little better now,lol
 
:tantrum: i also am upset. i spend alot of time on this site and dolphins site andl listen to all the press conferenses. i was so ready for this season and now i am embarresed. i bought new jerseys for me and the kids 300 bucks and 6 tickets to the lions game on thanksgivings 590 bucks. and now i dont even feel good about the team. o ya and the ticket since i live in ohio that 250. but i still have some faith that it will come together. dang i love those dolpins and i jus cant help it, i have a problem. my hope is that it gets better and my stomach dont hurt for a week after each lose. i do though think saben is a good coach and will get it togher. he just needs time. like a fine wine. rome wasnt built in a day. he has what it take it will come soon but mabye not this year like i thought. man i thought we were going to be good. thanks for listening.:boohoo: :boohoo:
 
there are 32 teams, while i agree that i want ours to be one of the better ones (and hopefully we end up that way), they can't all be good...maybe its not our time just yet

now excuse me while i have a good cry and then go look for some porn
 
must be not our time but we need to spend money first to improve our team i hate this conservative spending to find a gem that 9 out of 10 fails go for the sure thing if saban would have paid l.arrington just a little bit more we'd have him with thomas and crowder and our d would be more intimidating and probably would have made a big difference. we have never had any intimidating since a b.cox and i think we needs that since marino left the only established star we've had was ricky and i dont care what anyone says ricky would run circles around ronnie brown and i do think thats part of why we suck so bad that and saban has decided to replace our whole secondary with cast-offs thats why the are terrible
 
as good as zach and jt is who is for sure hall of fame worthy they dont get the pub because the offense killed them in the past and made them look bad but everyone knows how good they are,madison and surtain come to mind as well but same thing with them maybe not hof worthy though ricky cause he was rb a sexy position was always a bigger star is what i'm trying to say
 
Right on man. I'm sick of these overpaid primadonnas not being ready to play because their lives are a mess. Lazy........,wussies and pansies. We gotta get rid of the morons who can't execute plays. We need more guys who get in there and fight till the death. We need warriors who crave victory instead of these ............Ughhhhh
